On a Mission to Tidy Up

MODERN COMFORT IN ARTS AND CRAFTS STYLE

Mission-Style Living Room – Redwood City

DESIGN415 transformed a busy, cluttered living room in Redwood City into a cohesive, functional, and inviting space. The design features quarter-sawn white oak floors, a custom mission-style shelving unit with a marble-surround gas fireplace, and carefully curated furnishings, including the homeowners’ existing Stickley pieces.

The room blends Arts & Crafts style with modern comfort, incorporating a wool rug for texture, neutral paint colors to highlight woodwork, and plantation shutters for privacy and light control. Accessories and new custom furnishings were carefully selected to enhance both style and livability.

Completed in 6 months, this project demonstrates DESIGN415’s expertise in residential interior design in the San Francisco Bay Area, creating a stylish, practical, and timeless family living space.
